The Book
To obtain your very own copy of this legendary book is easy. However you must already be level 39 or higher to use. It can be purchased easily at your local Auction house, for around 50 to 100 silver buyout take one home today. If you chose the tougher method you can fight your way through humanoid mobs level 39 or higher until one falls. However to get it going early for the little cost it is wise to buy it right away.
After you have the book open up your inventory bags and right click the Lore of the Blade icon. This will send you on a small quest to speak with Gandalf. After reaching him in The Last Homely House he will tell you a tale of a Lore-master who once set out on a journey much like yours.
The Pages
As you soon quickly find out the book is missing some key pages to the enticing tale. Now it is time for your journey to begin. You must seek out the lost text in much the same manner as the heroine in the stories. Like most epic adventures this one will take you right into the heart of darkness known as Angmar.
First set of 4 pages
The first of the pages you seek can be found north of Aughaire the hill-men town in South Western Angmar. You will need to slay Orcs everywhere in and around the area of Fasach-Falroid. The cave of Barzum Pushdug is the perfect place. One of the best ways besides just running in swinging is to do the Hidden Hoard quest line. This starts with Buried treasure given out by Machar in Aughaire. The cavern is located just to the south west of the town of Donnvail. By the time you smash your way through collecting the gold and silver you should get a few pages. If you get nothing keep pushing through as the drop rate is low. You could have to take out as high as 300 of these fowl creatures to get them all.
Second set of 4 Pages
The second set of missing pages is far tougher to obtain than the others. It will require you to have completed Book 6: Chapter 6 of the epic storyline. This will allow you to pass the watching stones at Rammas Deluon. Once you have gained access to cross I would suggest finding Braigiar. You can get the quest The Highwaymen from him that will lead you right to the second set of mobs. You will be looking for Iron-Crown messengers and Necromancers. To get to the area you will need to be on the east side of the long road that runs north of the swamp. Head west being careful to dodge the many hungry orcs in the area and look for a tower to your right next to a path.
Once you have found it come around to the tower from the right staying out of range of nearby mobs. First check to be sure the other side of the tower is clear. Sometimes the messengers tend to wander. If it is clear run up between the tower and Cliffside and jump through the gap to the other side. Next will be a series of ramps up the hill. If you are solo you should stay around the second ramp and possibly on the third to get roaming Iron-Crown. You may also want to think about turning in The Highwaymen and looking for a group for The Keeper of Books quest which is next. It will also bring you to this same area and up against many more enemies in which to earn your pages.
The Rewards
Now you are ready to head back to civilization and see the local Bard. You will need to be of level 41 or higher to have an open legendary trait slot, but that should be achieved by now through your many perils. Once you have equipped your legendary trait for a small fee you are ready to dual wield a blade. This opens tons of possibilities to add stats so get started as soon as possible. It will pay off in the long run. Equip your sword in your off-hand slot and have fun on your many quests to come.
You have progressed far as a lore-master. It has been a long and extremely hard journey so far, but there are endless roads left ahead. Many evils have fell to your mighty staff as you have earned your way to being a keeper of this knowledge. May it guide you into the wasteland and bring you back a Legend.
