Those lucky enough to be in the EU Beta conducted by Codemasters were treated to poetry readings on Saturday. Participants shared their writings before the audience gathered at Methel Stage in Hobbiton.

At 3pm the audience settled down, there were a few latecomers as some had to travel a great distance to be there. Around ten entrants were summoned to the stage to read out their pieces. The theme for the prose for the contest was "Home" and the audience were not disappointed. There were some truly outstanding entries and indeed some incredible writing talent.
Winners were awarded gear, gold, and a few other very special surprises. A reception to congratulate the winners was held at the Green Dragon Inn nearby. To read more and view the screenshot gallery, Click Here!
